Blog # 4: Mind Map and Oral Presentation Slides

To create a mind map, I used the web-based program Bubbl.Us. There are many other online mind map makers.

Some are:

But my greatest regret was learning later (after I've created and submitted my Mind Map assignment) that Canva (https://www.canva.com/graphs/mind-maps/) also has a free mind map maker! I love Canva so much. Ever since I learned about it back in late 2013 (it was still in Beta phase), I've been using it for all my graphics and visual material requirements.

Anyway, I settled for my Bubbl.us mind map because it satisfies my needs and I like its simplicity. Below is the full map (click to enlarge).

For the purposes of the oral presentation, I selected a portion on my mind map to focus on. This will also be the focus of my plenary presentation for our seminar on May 20th.

Below are the images (click to enlarge) of the slides during my very minimal oral presentation. I wanted to share briefly to the class what my talk will be about and how I came up with my topic. I selected some references from my bibliography, those that I think capture the essence of my paper.
